Before you begin installing the Donation Manager, you must have [BD] Paygates installed on your forum. Paygates is an add-on that allows safe and secure payments to be made from your users. If you are not already using Paygates on your forum, you can follow the instructions we have posted below. Click here to get started with [BD] Paygates After Paygates has been installed on your system, you can proceed installing [AD] Donation Manager.To get started you will need to download the add-on from your customer area. You will be asked to provide some information before downloading. Once downloaded, save the .zip file somewhere you are familiar with. Next, you will want to extract the files. After that is done you will need to upload the contents inside the upload folder into your root XenForo directory. You will then need to install the .xml file. To install the .xml file, login to your XenForo admin control panel. Navigate to Install Add-on under the Add-ons section in your navigation. To install you can either a.) drag and drop the .xml file onto the "Choose File" button, b.) search for the .xml file after clicking on the button, or c.) copy and paste library/Audentio/DonationManager/addon-addm.xml to install the file from the server. Congratulations! You should now see a link on your ACP dashboard linking to the donation manager. You are now ready to start creating a donation campaign. After you've got it installed and working, you might want to check out some of the amazing features that come with this product. Click any of the links on the side to jump to that section. Paygates is a required add-on to accept payment, and therefore use, the [AD] Donation Manager. Here is how you get started. Your first step is to download the add-on from the XenForo Community. Once you are logged in to XenForo, Click Here to be directed to the [BD] Paygates download page. Click the Download Now button, and save the files somewhere you are familiar with on your computer. Next, you will want to extract the files. After that is done you will need to upload the contents inside the upload folder into your root XenForo directory. To get started, navigate the home tab of your Administrator Control Panel, locate Donation Manager in the sidebar, and click Campaigns. Select +Create New Campaign on the top right of the ACP. Active Active Campaign must be checked in order for the campaign to show up on the front end of your forum. Recurring If Campaign is Recurring is checked, the campaign will continue indefinitely, or until it's end date, and reset at set intervals. Campaigns can reset either daily, monthly, or yearly. Donation Goal You must set up a donation goal when you create your campaign.If your campaign is set to recurring, the goal will reset at every set interval. A progress bar with completion percentage will display on the front end for users to see. (Note: numbers in XenForo do not use commas as thousandths separators. example: $5,000 would simply by 5000) Donation Amounts You can create pre-set donation amounts for users to choose from, as well as enable or disable custom donation amounts. You may also set a minimum donation amount for custom donations. Donations can be set to recurring, but only if the campaign is recurring. Donations will recur at the same rate that the campaign does. (Note: You cannot set up recurring donations at a rate different than the rate of the campaign.) Track Donations [AD] Donate tracks donations made to each campaign. To view a list of donations made to a campaign, simply click on the Donation button on the side of the specific campaign for which you are reviewing.

The Milestones feature is a way for users to create stages of completion for their campaigns. Milestones can be set by either a specific amount or a percentage. Just set a specific amount, simply uncheck "Percent" when creating the milestone. Each milestone can have a color associated with it, and will be displayed in the progress bar. To set a color, use the color picker when creating or editing the milestone.

As well as being able to order your campaigns, you can also set a featured campaign. Featured campaigns appear at the top of the list in the sidebar, the top of the donations page, as well as at the top of the forum index (Note: the featured campaign is set to appear on forum index by default, but can be turned off in options.)

[AD] Donate adds a donation link in the main navigation by default. This can however be changed in the options. The link for the donation can be placed in: The main navigation bar The right side of the footer As a sublink of the account menu Or disabled completely

[AD] Donate allows you to place widgets for campaigns, top donors, and top donations using Widget Framework. To place a widget navigate to widget framework and select Add Widget. You can choose what type of widget to use in the Rendered dropdown field. For more information on Widget Framework, click here.

If you are currently using Donation Manager by the author vbgamer45, you can import all your current donation campaigns into AD Donate. To import, navigate to tools and select Rebuild Caches. You will see three steps listed, those being Import Campaigns, Import Donations, and Cleanup. Simply click the buttons to run the functions in order.
